KISSING BOOTH (placeholder)

Lindsey Boldt's HUMAN POETRY JUKEBOX. Audience listening (to the jukebox's version of a bit of Theresa Hak Kyung Cha's Dictee): Morgan, Del, Otto, Stephanie, Erika

Dear all, thanks for coming out for or checking in about last night's TAXT fundraiser/good time, Kissing Booth---successful in all ways: something new, something fun, something sweet, and we raised a little money too! enough to cover at least three of this year's four chapbooks. Once everyone's rested and the photos are sorted, I'll post more, in the meantime, Laura Moriarty has something to say about it here! And pictures. Thanks Laura, thanks to all the poets who participated, as performers, as bartenders, as kissers, as helpers, and thanks and thanks again to the Bay Area.
SS + TAXT

p.s. it was so much fun, and everyone's work so smart, so diverse, so great, & the audience so lively I am ready to do it all over again tomorrow! or....Same time! next year!

note to self:

don't get dumb drunk on tequila + PBR + empty stomach and essentially accuse a houseful of your best friends and poetry compatriots (who've just helped you pull off the spectacular fundraising-slash-poetry-carnival event of your dreams) of stealing your waylaid electronic devices. that might be bad form.
.............................................................................

btw, darren called. did you leave your phone and camera here at 21grand?

xxxxxooooo
