Board members of organizations writing themselves into the organizations' public programming, and I'm not talking about museums. Is that like vanity press? Nothing like getting your purchase on, by any means you've got the means and time for. It's not overt (which would be better, which would be 'right'), because one has to be in the know to know. That's dirty politic. Or is it just business-as-usual, no integrity necessary?

that's true; organizational ethics could be a really interesting route to take.
